2026 Leadership Transition and Appointment of New Managing Director

FROMM Packaging Australia today announces that Richard Layton has decided to step down as Managing Director on the 12th January 2026 and retire from FROMM during 2026. Upon stepping down Richard would have served FROMM Packaging Australia as Managing Director for 15 years. 
FROMM Holdings has appointed Graeme Wood as the company's Managing Director, effective 12th January 2026.

Mr Wood will take on the responsibility for leading FROMM Packaging Australia into its next phase of growth, building on the company's solid performance and longstanding reputation for quality, customer service and innovation in the packaging industry. 

FROMM Packaging Australia acknowledges the exceptional contribution of Richard Layton, who has been instrumental in the business since joining Australian Warehouse Solutions in 1990. Over his tenure as Managing Director, Richard has shaped the company's growth across Australia by driving product innovation, delivering advanced automation solutions, building long-standing industry partnerships and overseeing the successful transition and vertical integration of Australian Warehouse Solutions into FROMM Packaging Australia in 2013. His leadership has laid a strong foundation for continued success and future growth.

In transitioning into his new role, Graeme Wood will lead the organisation's strategic direction and advance operations across Australia. Graeme brings more than 25 years of experience across the logistics and building industries, with strong expertise in senior stakeholder engagement, strategic partnerships, business development, export operations and sales leadership.
